If you discover that the TV and/or Home Entertainment Receiver isn’t up-to-date with the additional HDMI supply elements and improved functions available nowadays, the answer might be DVDO’s Quick6 4K UltraHD HDMI switcher.

As it has 2 outputs, it’s essentially also an HDMI splitter.

This means that these inputs allow the connection of MHL-compatible source devices, enabling audio, video, and still image content from those devices to viewed on an HDTV, Video Projector, or heard on a home theater audio system. These ports also allow charging for MHL portable devices. It must be noted that these inputs also accommodate non-MHL source devices, if the MHL-feature is not required by the user. 3D and up to 1080p resolution sources can be accommodated.
HDMI 2 through 6 are standard HDMI inputs (you cannot use them for MHL sources), with compatibility for resolutions up to 4K, and are also 3D compatible.
